(Gateway Pundit) – On Fox News Tuesday evening, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes issued a stern warning to FBI Director Christopher Wray and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein: Hand over the unredacted documents that congressional investigators have requested or face not only the prospect of being held in contempt — but impeachment, as well.
A partial transcript of tonight’s interview with Fox News host Laura Ingraham and Nunes follows:
Ingraham: “You’ve been trying to get documents for as long as I have been doing this show. People have been asking why is it that you haven’t yet held anyone in contempt of Congress. It’s a big deal to do that. Eric Holder was held in contempt of Congress as I recall over the Fast and Furious documents. What gives here?”
Nunes: “We’re still in a situation where it’s trickle down documents. We issued the subpoena in August. We walked through piece by piece, every time we get a little bit more. As you know, we had to get out the major information, which was the information on the warrant against Carter Page, a Trump associate. Since that time we’ve been investigating the State Department and we especially have an interest in this electronic communication…. We’re at a boiling point where we need this two-page document…”
Ingraham: “Robert Costa is speculating on Twitter tonight that you are on the verging of moving to hold Christopher Wray and Rod Rosenstein in contempt on Congress…”
Nunes: “We are going to get the document. We are going to get the two pages. So they can either cough them up now or it will get really complicating starting tomorrow night and we’ll have to take all the necessary steps to get the documents.”
Ingraham: “What are the chance you are going to hold [Wray and Rosenstein] in contempt of Congress?”
Nunes: “We’re not only going to hold in contempt, but we will have a plan to hold in contempt and impeach.”

Fox News contributor Sara Carter previously reported that House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes is calling for Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray to hand over unredacted documents related to the agency’s Russia probe.
Sara Carter reports:
Chairman Devin Nunes, R-CA, sent the letter to Department of Justice Assistant Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray warning them that their lack of compliance with the committee’s original Aug. 24, 2017 subpoena to turn over all requested documents could result in “the Committee pursuing all appropriate legal remedies, including seeking civil enforcement” in a federal district court. The committee gave the FBI and DOJ until April 11 to turn over all the documentation requested.
The request for the un-redacted version of the originating “electronic communication” is new and it reveals that the committee is looking into the FBI’s initiation of the investigation into alleged collusion between President Trump and Russia in the 2016 presidential election. The document would be a detailed report of the FBI’s reasoning to move forward with the investigation into the Trump campaign after the bureau was informed by Australian authorities of a conversation Trump campaign advisor George Papadopoulos had with one of their diplomats at a London bar.
